The room you’ve been looking for.

Most professional gatherings ask you to perform. This one asks you to think.

You have a team. You have a board, a boss, mentors, maybe a coach. What most executive women don’t have is a room of true peers — people at the same altitude, with no agenda, where you can say the unpolished version out loud. And where everyone at the table is there for the same reason: to support each other, help each other, and make sure no one is carrying it alone.

The Chrysalis is an executive peer group for women — a confidential space where leaders at the VP level and above come together to work through real challenges, sharpen their thinking, and find clarity alongside peers who understand the weight of the decisions you carry.

Leadership is an ongoing practice. The Chrysalis gives you intentional space to be human in it, while drawing on peer wisdom, shared inquiry, and collective sense-making. You bring what’s alive. The room holds it, and we move it forward, collectively.

Why The Chrysalis

The space between who you’ve been
and who you’re becoming.

A chrysalis is not passive. Transformation happens inside it — protected, intentional, and real. The Chrysalis is built on that same idea: a space where executive women do the honest work of leadership, together.

The blue morpho’s wings are brilliant on one side, camouflaged on the other. Most executive women know exactly what that’s like. The Chrysalis is the room where you don’t have to choose which side shows.

What You Can Expect

The Format

Structured. Proven. Adaptive.

We use a proprietary mastermind format with a track record of results — then shape how we apply it to match exactly what the room needs that day.

Bring a problem. Leave with solutions. Or simply come for the company of peers — the room works either way.

The Room

Confidential. Real. Peer-Level.

A space to say what you’re actually navigating — with other women who operate at the same altitude and understand the weight of the decisions you carry. What’s said in the chrysalis stays in the chrysalis.

The Design

Small by Intention

Never more than ten at the table. The intimacy is the point. You’ll leave having actually thought — not just networked.

No slides No pitches No spectators

Just a conversation that serves you.

Built for women who are done proving they belong in the room.

This might be your room if

  • You lead at the VP level or above at a company with 50–500 employees
  • You’re tired of rooms where you can’t say what you’re actually dealing with
  • You want to think alongside peers, not be taught at
  • You value depth and confidentiality

This is not for you if

  • You’re looking for a speaker series or training event
  • You want a room where one person has all the answers
  • You’re early in your leadership journey
  • You need hard ROI to justify an hour of thinking

The Emergence

What you can expect to walk away with.

Clarity and confidence

Greater clarity in navigating immediate challenges — and relief from carrying them alone.

Skills you can use immediately

Practical leadership insight grounded in real situations — not theory, not abstraction.

A trusted circle of peers

A trusted circle of women who understand your altitude. Many find the relationships continue well beyond the room — that’s up to you.

Your Host

Kelley Sanabria

Kelley Sanabria is the founder of Blue Morpho Leadership and a Georgetown University-trained, ICF-credentialed executive coach. She’s spent more than 20 years inside government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations — leading teams, advising senior executives, and learning firsthand what the view from the top actually costs.

She’s coached Fortune 500 executives and national security leaders, and has led rooms for Florida State University, Loyola University Maryland, the Howard County Chamber, and others. In post-session surveys, 100% of attendees rate her sessions valuable — and 100% say they’d be back.

Her specialty is tension: competing priorities, misalignment, the friction that won’t resolve on its own. She helps senior leaders turn it into momentum and execution. Her clients are executives who are smart, capable, and still somehow stuck — and they don’t stay that way.

She created The Chrysalis because the best leadership conversations she’s witnessed never happen on the stage — they happen in the parking lot after the conference, in the sidebar after the panel. She built this room so those conversations could happen on purpose.

The Founding Cohort

Founding Members Shape the Room

This is the inaugural session, and the nine women who join have the opportunity to shape the format, cadence, and rhythm of this collective. You’re not just buying a seat at an event, you’re helping to build the room you’ve been looking for.

Ten chairs at the table. One of them is mine. Nine are yours.
